Exercising Yourself Unto Godliness Retreat, 2025, took place on October 18, 2025. In this retreat, the God's Power Gospel Books Team, led by Sylvanus Godspower, elaborated on the matter of Spiritual Maturity. In the two messages given by Sylvanus Godspower, we have seen God’s desire for our spiritual maturity, what spiritual maturity really is, and the way to attaining spiritual maturity.

It is clear from the first message that the Lord desires that all men should surrender themselves to Him and embrace eternal life. He also yarns so much that those who have surrendered themselves to Him, who are the believers, should grow speedily and attain spiritual maturity in their lifetime. Sylvanus Godspower explained that spiritual growth, which is the process of attaining maturity, is the progressive increment of the divine life in the life of the believers; whereas spiritual maturity is coming to the state of fullness in all aspects. He also unveils the four areas of fullness that lead to attaining maturity. These are:
1. The Fullness of Joy and Peace (Romans 15:13)
2. The Fullness of Good Fruits (Galatians 5:22 to 23)
3. The Fullness of Comfort (First Corinthians 7:4)
4. The Fullness of the Knowledge of God’s Will (Colossians 1:9).

He stated that our fullness in these four areas will completely transform us into the Lord’s image, leading to our spiritual maturity.

In the second message, we have seen the divine life of Christ as God’s provision for our spiritual maturity. The abundance of the divine life in our lives will give us victory over our sinful nature and all the works of the enemy. Sylvanus further pointed out the two ways we gain the divine life to overcome our sinful nature. These are:

1. Living the Reality of Being Crucified with Christ, Dead with Christ, Resurrected with Christ, and Being Alive with Christ.
2. Seeking the Lord Jesus.

In fact, the second message is the climax of the sharing on Spiritual Maturity in the previous retreat with the Pakistani brethren.
