As part of our mandate to make valuable resources available in native languages for spiritual growth, God’s Power Gospel Books Printing Service LBG has completed the translation of four books into French. This project is geared towards equipping missionaries in the French-speaking countries with rich gospel materials to enrich their evangelism and enhance their discipleship. Thanks to Mr Koka Mawuena, Mr Klutse Rodolpho, and Mr Klutse Ricardo, who are leading their team of six professional translators in Ghana to do the French translation.
The books translated are:
- Receiving the Testimony, a pocket-size booklet that explains why man must accept the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and the outcome of man’s rejection of the gospel.
- The Genesis of Sin and Christ’s Redemption, a pocket-size booklet that discusses the origin of sin, how sin was transmitted into man, and the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Reading the Bible, a pocket-sized booklet that teaches the importance of the word in the growth of believers.
- The Believers’ Fellowship, a 52-page book that teaches how to have a healthy fellowship for one’s edification and spiritual maturity.
The team has worked hard to provide the best French rendering of the original text while keeping the content intact. They also did rigorous editorial work to check for grammatical errors and produce standardized French books that are easily comprehensible.
The institution is set to produce the first few copies of the French books for distribution to missionaries across the French-speaking countries.
