THE GENESIS OF SIN AND CHRIST’S REDEMPTION
GOD’S PERFECT CREATION
In the beginning, God first created the heavens and stretched them out. He created all the hosts of heaven; the morning stars, the angels, and the other living creatures (Job 38:4–7). He then created the earth. Isaiah 45:18 says, “For thus says Jehovah, Who created the heavens— He is the God, Who formed the earth and made it; He established it; He did not create it waste, but He formed it to be inhabited.”
All the hosts of Heaven, the Earth and the things on it, the water bodies and the aquatic creatures have a measure of God’s nature in their respective classes. This made them perfect and righteous in the sight of God.
See! The hosts of heaven lived joyfully, praising and magnifying God (Job 38:7). The earth only yielded herbs, grasses, plants, and trees that will be profitable to man and animals (Genesis 1:11 to 13, 29 to 30). Animals lived in peaceful coexistence and did no harm to one another (Isaiah 11:6 to 9; Genesis 1:30). The water bodies and all the aquatic creatures were pure and were not habitat to unclean spirits (Genesis 1:21). And man, who is the only creature made in the similitude of God, was constantly in tune with the Lord and was always craving for Him. Thus, all the creations were perfect, exhibiting the attributes of God.
