THE POWER OF THE HEART

1. My heart is the engine of my life,

   I will keep it pure and clean,

   My heart is the steer of my life,

   I will steer clear of sin.

2. When my heart keeps the law of Life,

   None of my steps shall slide,

   When I meditate within my heart,

   Every evil shall I override.

3. A good heart, oh the heart of flesh,

   Better than gold, glorious to have,

   Cheap to afford, common to find,

   The only possession, abiding in life.
