First School Outreach

We live in a generation that the gospel is so much popularized by several preachers on the internet, social media, and the traditional media. Dozens of sermons are released everyday. The biggest tragedy here is that most of the sermons available to the public consumption are void of crucial elements composing the message of the gospel. For this reason, although the absolute majority regularly listen to Christian podcasts and participate in several spiritual activities, their spiritual life is not becoming better but rather depleting from time to time.

This understanding ignited us, and thus, our hearts are burdened to come to the rescue of the younger generation with the unadulterated gospel of Christ. Seasoning this burden with much prayer, we have pioneered an outreach program to youth camps and high schools.

Aveyime R. C Junior High School and Aveyime Girls Model R. C. Junior High School became the first schools the team has reached out to. These schools are located in Aveyime-Battor, in the North Tongu District in the Volta Region of Ghana.

Starting our journey on the 17th of October, 2024, the team has safely crossed River Volta from Titikorpe to Mepe.

On Friday, the 18th of October, 2024, the team went to Aveyime which is about an hour drive from Mepe. Upon reaching Aveyime, the team first visited Aveyime R. C Junior High School and proceeded to Aveyime Girls Model Junior High School.

In both of these schools, the team helped the young people understand the biblical meaning of salvation and the proven procedures in obtaining genuine salvation. The team also distributed a total of 130 free booklets in the two schools. The titles distributed are "Repentance", a pocket-size booklet that provides a practical illustrations of repentance, and "Reading the Bible," a pocket-size booklet that also teaches the importance of the word in the growth of believers.
