THE CREATION OF MAN AND HIS CORRUPTION

God refurbished the earth and created things into it. He then made man in His own image and after His likeness (Genesis 1:26). Man was created just, upright, and void of sin.

God prepared a beautiful residence for man in the Garden of Eden. In the midst of the garden were the tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and evil. The Tree of life typifies the eternal life, and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil also typifies Satan. The Lord God commanded man to eat the fruits of the available trees in the garden with the exception of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:17). However, man was deceived by the enemy, and he transgressed the commandment of God. As a result, sin was transfused into man and his nature became corrupted.

SIN’S DOMINATION

Through Adam and Eve, sin passed over to all men. All men became sinners through one man’s disobedience (Romans 3:10, 23; Romans 5:12). For this reason, a man does not need to commit a sin to be qualified as a sinner, for all men are born sinners. Since sin passes over to all men, no one teaches man how to sin before he makes practice of it. Man invented many ideas and develop several technique to make sinning easy and attractive. In this way, sin becomes the nature of man and his happiness.

The New Testament spoke of numerous kinds of sins. The following are a few quotations that unveil some of the actions disapproved by God and are therefore considered sins: Matthew 15:19; Mark 7:20 – 22; Romans 1:29  -31; Galatians 5:19 -21. (Please read them thoroughly from the Bible.)
